Rev'd Josée Lemoine, Priest and Team Leader of the Laurentian Regional Ministry

I am the Team Leader of the Laurentian Regional Ministry,  based in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. Being French-speaking and coming from a Lutheran background, as a wife and mother of 4 adult children, I bring a colourful flavour to the ministry. J’aime me mélanger aux gens, apprendre à les connaître et échanger avec eux dans les deux langues officielles. Do not hesitate to come, meet and talk to me!

The Rev`d Nick Brotherwood,  Associate Priest of Laurentian Regional Ministry

Nick joined the Laurentian Regional Ministry team on a full-time basis in September, 2019.  Ordained in Southwell Minster, England, he has worked mostly in the Diocese of Montreal. Besides his broad experience in ministry, Nick brings with him knowledge and experience from working with young adults as a missioner and from helping to introduce thinking around fresh expressions of church to Canada.

Tania Lesack,  Assistant Curate

Joining the Laurentian Regional Ministry team on September 1st, 2018, Tania is a recent graduate of the Montreal Diocesan Theological College. She grew up in the Orthodox Church on the West Coast. She came to Montreal to study French and never left. Her two children – who are now adults – were born in Montreal. She loves liturgy and literature and likes to sketch. She is looking forward to getting to know the people and communities of the Laurentians.

wendy-1 Lay Reader:  Wendy Crooks

To become a Diocesan Lay Reader was a decision I took in 2008, after years of prayerful discernment and heartfelt discussions with trusted friends and colleagues. I was commissioned by the Diocese of Montreal in November 2009 to serve as a licensed Lay Reader in the Parishes of Lachute and the Lower Laurentians.  To continue to hold such a license, a lay reader must follow continuing education, workshops, or other Diocesan approved religious studies.  A lay reader may, when the need arises, lead morning and evening prayer services, take funerals and carry out other leadership roles in agreement with and approved by the local clergy.  I believe it is an honour and a privilege to serve the Lord and I pray for God's continued grace and loving support to guide me along on this journey.
